Supporting the emotional and mental health of people of all ages

District Medical Group (DMG) includes board-certified psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, certified advanced practitioners and licensed social workers to support individuals and families experiencing difficulties related to psychiatric, psychological and emotional challenges, such as depression, anxiety and more. Providing outpatient and inpatient care, our behavioral health specialists support patients across Maricopa County at Valleywise Behavioral Health Centers, Comprehensive Health Centers and Community Health Centers.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient services are available for people of all ages- from infants to senior adults- offering personalized therapy and treatment to meet the needs of each individual. Treatment techniques vary by the patient’s age and specific behavioral health challenges.

Inpatient Services

Caring for patients of all ages who require a hospital or psychiatric stay, DMG behavioral health specialists staff Valleywise Behavioral Health Centers in the West, Central and East Valley. We are committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care and developing an individualized healing and recovery plan for each patient. Inpatient behavioral health services include:

  • Adolescent inpatient treatment for patients ages 13-17 years old

  • Adult involuntary treatment for court-ordered mental health evaluation and treatment

  • Geriatric medical and psychiatric treatment, with a care team that includes internal medicine physicians and psychiatrists
