Rheumatology

Optimizing muscle, bone, and joint health

While arthritis is one of the most known conditions, District Medical Group (DMG) rheumatology specialists treat a plethora of diseases impacting the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.  Supporting patients of all ages, DMG rheumatologists treat:

  • Arthritis

  • Bursitis

  • Chronic autoimmune diseases, including lupus

  • Gout

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

  • Osteoarthritis (joint disease usually affecting middle-aged to elderly people)

  • Scleroderma (connective tissue disease)

  • Tendinitis

  • Vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels)

DMG rheumatologists partner with the patient and other medical specialists, such as pain management, to develop a customized treatment plan to meet the needs of the patient.

Our pediatric rheumatologists provide care to patients at DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services (DMG CRS), Arizona’s largest multi-specialty interdisciplinary clinic (MSIC), enabling the patient access all needed pediatric medical specialists in one location. DMG rheumatologists care for patients at outpatient Valleywise Health locations as well as provide inpatient services at Valleywise Health Medical Center.
