Kristen Robinson, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, DNP has a diverse background of health care experience, including:
- Seven years’ experience as an emergency room nurse
- More than six years’ experience as a family nurse practitioner, caring for patients in family practice clinics and urgent cares
- Nearly nine years’ experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)
As a PMHNP, she has worked extensively with severely mentally ill patients suffering psychiatric crisis- some of whom have court-ordered therapy- to move them towards acute stabilization.
“It is a priority in my treatment to remember that patients are humans; they have their own perspective, culture, history and goals,” Kristen said. “It is my responsibility to honor those.”
Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and vacationing with her dogs.
