Personal History & Interests

Misty Cox loves living in Arizona and spent her college years- from earning an associate degree from Mesa Community College through post-master’s degree programs at Arizona State University (ASU)- in the Valley of the Sun. Misty graduated from ASU with a Master of Science in Nursing and continued her education at ASU earning post-master’s certificates in Family Practice and Women’s Health.

Misty began her healthcare career as a registered nurse (RN) in 1992 and enjoyed supporting the health of patients for nine years as an registered nurse before continuing her education and becoming a primary care provider (PCP) for patients of all ages.  She believes the roll of a PCP is to promote health at every level- body, mind, and spirit. She takes pleasure helping patients achieve their wellness goals.

Misty has lived in Arizona most of her life and currently lives in Chandler with her husband and dog. She has two grown sons and loves spending time with her family outdoors and traveling.
