Kimberly Tran, MD is a specialist in medical and surgical treatment of retina conditions. With more than 10 years’ ophthalmology experience, she has practiced in both academic and private practice environments.

Fluent in three languages, Dr. Tran’s research has been published in national and international journals of ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Committed to preparing the next generation of ophthalmologists and retina specialists, Dr. Tran has been on faculty in the Departments of Ophthalmology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida and the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion. She also served as the co-director of ocular trauma at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine for a year following her vitreoretinal surgery fellowship.
