Personal History and Interests
Katsuko Nagayoshi Cleymaet, DO is a clinical psychiatrist whose clinical interests include:
- Inpatient psychiatry
- Psychodynamic psychotherapy
- Medical information systems
In addition to her medical degree, she earned a Master of Science in physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Before joining DMG, Dr. Cleymaet cared for patients at Temple Health in Philadelphia, PA- the same institution where she completed her medical internship and psychiatry residency. In addition to caring for patients, she was an Assistant Professor, Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
Dr. Claymaet remains active in research and advancing clinical practice and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Society of Addiction Medicine. She has applied her behavioral health education to multiple cultures and authored an article titled, “Who are you Waiting For? Historical Interpretations of Love and Courtship in the Hyakunnin Isshu” in the Wittenberg University East Asian Studies Journal.
