Personal History and Interests

Dr. Kaitlin Larson’s care philosophy is driven by a quote from William Osler, a Canadian physician who was one of four founding professors of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland- “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”

When she is not putting this philosophy to work in the operating room, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her adorable dog, Coach Wooden. Dr. Larson maintains an active lifestyle, including swimming, running, hiking and traveling. She is also a big fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lakers and Rams and University of California Los Angeles sports teams.
