Personal History and Interests

In January 2010, Dan Hobohm, MD was appointed Chairman of the Board of District Medical Group (DMG), formerly known as Medical Professional Associates of Arizona, (MedPro). From 1995 through 2009, Dr. Hobohm held the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Board member of MedPro.Dr. Hobohm joined the medical staff of Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly Maricopa Medical Center) in 1991. He is currently chief medical quality officer, chair of the department of pathology, and director of laboratories for Valleywise Health. Dr. Hobohm is renowned for his presentations and lectures both locally and nationally. He is also committed to educating the next generation of medical professionals and is an assistant professor at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix.

Dr. Hobohm completed medical school and an internship in 1983 and 1984 respectively at Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1988. He has been Board Certified in anatomic and clinical pathology since 1988.
