Carole Barake, MD joined DMG after completing her second of two obstetrics and gynecology residencies. Between these two programs, she spent a year as a post-doctoral researcher at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk.

An advocate for women, Dr. Barake provides “care as if given to a beloved family member- ensuring that every day the person feels seen, heard and protected.”

When she is not providing women’s health care, Dr. Barake enjoys reading and traveling. She has lived in multiple countries and is fluent in three languages- Arabic, French and English.
