Refugee Womens Health Clinic

The Refugee Women’s Health Clinic, the first of its kind in Arizona, was established to address not only the clinical care of refugee women, but to provide comprehensive women’s health services that emphasize key values such as respect of culture, compassion, quality of service and excellent care.

We provide holistic and culturally grounded care services for the growing refugee and immigrant community to serve women in a professional, culturally and linguistically-appropriate manner, while seeking to reduce/eliminate health disparities and cultural barriers to care. Since its inception in October 2008, the RWHC has cared for refugee women from 15 different countries, speaking 13 different languages.
